Harry Ozkoch
Master Jeweller and Founder
Updated 3 June 2026
Harry Ozkoch is the master jeweller and founder of Anny's Manufacturing Jewellers. He started at the bench at sixteen, founded the workshop in 1990, and has spent more than 39 years setting stones and finishing fine jewellery. Today, he leads a 10-person workshop on the Mornington Peninsula and personally oversees every piece that leaves the studio — from engagement-ring settings to remodelling commissions and repairs.
A lifetime at the bench
Harry began his apprenticeship at sixteen, learning traditional goldsmithing from the ground up. The discipline he absorbed in those early years — the patience of master stone setting, the eye for a level bezel, the feel of metal under a file — forms the foundation of everything Anny's produces today. He did not come up through a design school or a chain retailer. He came up through the bench.
More than 39 years on, the bench is still where he is happiest. Before any custom piece leaves the studio, it passes under Harry's eye. He is the quality gate: if the setting is not right, the ring does not go out. That standard has been consistent for three and a half decades, and it is the reason customers who first visited the workshop in the 1990s still bring their families back today.
2019 JAA People's Choice
In 2019, Harry won the People's Choice category at the Australasian Jewellery Awards — the JAA's annual industry competition covering Australia and New Zealand. The winning design, “A Drop of Love”, was set in 18kt yellow gold and platinum with white diamonds and ultra-rare Australian Argyle pink diamonds, concealing a hidden drop-diamond effect visible only from beneath the centre stone. The public voted from across Australia and New Zealand. Read the full award story →
Working alongside the next generation
Anny's is a multigenerational family business. Harry leads the bench; his son Chris leads CAD design, diamond sourcing, and the customer-facing side. The two halves of the partnership work in concert: Chris translates a customer's brief into a 3D design, and Harry and the workshop team turn that design into metal and stones. Neither half works without the other — the digital precision of the CAD file and the decades of hand craft at the bench are what produce a finished ring that looks right and wears right. Meet Chris →
