The people behind your ring
Who makes your band
Most bands in our collection are made to order by Becks, a specialist wedding-band maker, and we make Silver Plus and bespoke bands to order at our Frankston workshop.
Whichever design you choose, we help you with the fit and provide aftercare through the Frankston workshop. We'll confirm the maker and lead time for your band when you enquire.

Care for the years ahead
Eligible rings include one free resize within the first 2 months, for a change of up to three ring sizes. Some metals and designs cannot be resized; we will confirm before you order.
Every Anny's piece includes lifetime cleaning and polishing. White gold may need rhodium re-plating over time; platinum develops a natural patina.

Ask our jewellersCommon questions
Platinum or white gold — which is better for a wedding ring?
Both are excellent; the difference is maintenance. White gold is gold alloyed with whitening metals and is often rhodium-plated for a bright white finish. The plating can wear and may need renewing. Platinum is naturally white all the way through, so it never needs re-plating; it's denser and holds a stone securely, but it's dearer up front and shows soft scuffs sooner (a patina many people like). We offer both, so the honest advice is to try each on and decide on feel and budget rather than on a rule. How much should you spend on a wedding ring?
There's no fixed rule — the old "X months' salary" line was a marketing invention, not a standard. Plain precious-metal bands start in the few-hundred-dollar range; wider bands, platinum, and diamond-set designs cost more. Spend what sits comfortably against the rest of the wedding, and remember you'll wear this ring every day for decades. We quote against your actual design rather than a from-price, so you only pay for what you choose. How wide should a men's wedding ring be?
Most men land between 4mm and 8mm. Narrower bands (4–5mm) suit smaller frames and a quieter look; a middle width around 6mm to 6.5mm is the most-ordered and sits well on most hands; 7mm and up reads more deliberately on a larger hand. Wider bands tend to feel tighter at the same numerical size, so we usually size up half a size past 6mm. Our men's wedding ring guide walks through width, profile, finish, and metal in detail.Which finger and hand does a wedding ring go on in Australia?
In Australia the wedding ring is worn on the fourth finger — the ring finger — of the left hand, the same convention as the United Kingdom. It sits below the engagement ring, closest to the heart. A small minority follow the European right-hand tradition, and either is perfectly correct. What's the difference between a wedding band and a wedding ring?
The two terms are used interchangeably in Australia. "Band" usually describes a plain or simple-set design without a centre stone, while "ring" is the broader word that also covers diamond-set and feature designs. We use both depending on the piece — nothing hangs on the label.Should our wedding rings match?
It's entirely your call. Some couples want identical bands; others choose complementary widths, metals, or finishes so each ring suits its wearer while still feeling like a set. Either way, we can help you balance one against the other — including matching a new band to an existing engagement ring. Can a wedding ring be resized later?
Most precious-metal bands can, depending on their design. Eligible rings include one free resize within the first 2 months, for a change of up to three ring sizes. Some metals and designs cannot be resized; we will confirm eligibility before you order. Further resizing of suitable precious-metal bands is available for a workshop fee. Take a printable ring sizer home and check yourself across a few days at different temperatures, or come in for an in-person fitting at our Frankston workshop. How long does it take to make a wedding ring?
It depends on who makes your band. Most bands in our collection are made to order by Becks, and we confirm their lead time when you enquire. Silver Plus and bespoke bands, which we make at our Frankston workshop, follow our custom-manufacturing timeframe: Approximately 3–4 weeks from CAD sign-off, subject to complexity and workshop capacity. Diamond-set and platinum bands can sit at the longer end. We'll give you a realistic date during your enquiry and tell you honestly if a wedding date is tight. We also have 2-week and 48-hour options for engagement and bridal rings. Get in touch to discuss what is possible for your timeframe.
